Title XX training, 1972-1983.

Files pertaining to the federal funds provided (through Title XX of the Social Security Act, Public Law 93-647 Social Services Amendments) to Wisconsin for training local direct service workers in the special skills and knowledge required to provide social services to clients. The files also deal with the training of managers in the administration of the program at both the county and state level. Files include: general correspondence; administrative materials, including contracts, evaluations, class lists, and expenditure reports; miscellaneous fiscal material; and Title XX Training Audit Reports. The Title XX federal funding of social services was replaced with block grants.
